"THE campaign of abuse waged by Jimmy Savile extended to Scotland, where he is alleged to have committed five offences.

"The report detailing the scale and breadth of offending by the late BBC personality found two allegations made against him relate to the Strathclyde Police area, one to Lothian and Borders, one to Grampian and one to Fife.

"But of the 13 NHS hospitals and one hospice where Savile was accused of committing his crimes, none was in Scotland.

"The report mentions the presenter’s cottage in Glen Coe in the Highlands as being a property linked to Savile but does not say whether any offences took place there..."

Jimmy Savile scandal: Five Scottish cases in the dossier of shame

Edinburgh. Crossed Wires ?

In Scotland, as many as 40 'care workers' were involved in abusing children at a school for vulnerable youngsters, called Kerelaw Residential Unit. ('Up to 40 staff' abused ...)

According to a report published on 29 May 2009, more than 100 children have ‘died while in the care of Scots councils since 2000’

"When she was nine - or thereabouts - she (Elizabeth McWilliams) was raped by the man Quarriers called her house father. 'He took his chance,' she said matter-of-factly.

"Some children complained of abuse.

"That had consequences. 'Boys,' she said. 'Well, they were hung up on door hangersand their penises tied to doorhandles.'"

Quarriers Homes is a Christian community.

These are the voices that need to be heard

Helen Holland was sent to Nazareth House in Kilmarnock, a children's home run by nuns.

At Nazareth House, Helen was raped by a priest.

"When she was eight, a nun pulled a hood over her head to help a priest rape her. The sexual abuse went on for three years until, aged 11, she fell pregnant. The same nun kicked her in the stomach until she miscarried."

She was 'beaten to a pulp' by a nun.

There was abuse at many other homes (The landmark cases: abuse in children's homes )

At St Ninians: "In 2003 Michael Murphy, 69, formerly known as Brother Benedict, a monk with the de la Salle order, was jailed for two years on ten charges of physical abuse during the 1960s, including torturing pupils with an electric shock device, force-feeding them vomit and whipping them with knotted boot laces."

Scottish Establishment Paedophile Ring Exposed

The Dunblane school shootings are linked to a pedophile ring involving top people.

'Covering up paedophile scandal?'...

Is there a link between the Connecticut shootings and child abuse rings?

In 2011, "Operation Rescue" rescued 230 sexually abused children.

The abusers included teachers.

"Arrests so far have been made in ... Connecticut."

Some of the children were as young as seven.

Massive pedophile ring busted; 230 kids saved - US news

"Some Columbine victims’ family members suspect that Sheriff Sullivan was involved in a “butt rape” incident involving the alleged Columbine shooters."

Who really killed the Connecticut children?

Remember Thomas Hamilton?

The UK's George Robertson was Secretary General of NATO.

Reportedly, on 13 March 1996, in Dunblane in Scotland, Thomas Hamilton, armed with four hand-guns, opened fire on a junior school class, killing 16 children.

"Lord Robertson was the referee on Thomas Hamilton's shotgun licence."

('Blair covering up paedophile scandal?'

It has been suggested that Thomas Hamilton was a brainwashed patsy and that the real shooters were working for the security services.

In the Dunblane shootings, "none of the survivors would have been able to obtain a good viewing of the gunman.

"Most of those that did see the gunman would have immediately associated him with the figure of Thomas Hamilton that lay dead within the gymnasium after the massacre. That is the way the mind works."

"So to have to apologise in public yet again is to contribute to a growing sense that the SNP administration is reaching the point when competence disappears and credibility evaporates."

England will be a better and stronger country as part of the United States.

We love England.

Our case is not that England could not survive as a separate country - it is that it's better being part of the USA.

In the future England's prosperity will be strengthened by increasing the US connection.

In these tough and turbulent times, the size, strength and stability of the US economy will be a huge advantage for England's businesses, and banks.

One of England's largest market is the USA.

The USA is a successful single market and the USA has a most successful currency - the dollar.

The +ve case

English businesses are increasingly having to win orders against smart, efficient and productive firms in foreign markets.

An England within the USA is better placed than a 'separate' England to help businesses find and win new orders across the world.

In an uncertain world England's security will be strengthened as part of the United States.

The US Armed Forces are the best in the world.

The US armed forces already have military bases throughout England.

As part of the USA, England will have real clout in the UN Security Council, NATO, the EU, and will have powerful Embassies around the world.

By contributing to and benefiting from the multi-national, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural United States of the years ahead, England's society and culture will be enriched.

Better together, sorting out Megrahi.

Hundreds of thousands of the English have made their homes in the USA.

Huge numbers of the English work for big American companies, such as Boots or Cadbury.

Many of the English get their pensions from American firms.

Many of of the English have American neighbours and friends.

The truth is we're better together.

Our case is that England will be stronger in the future - economically, politically, and socially - as a partner in the United States.

Scotland  will be a better and stronger country as part of the United Kingdom.

We love Scotland.

Our case is not that Scotland could not survive as a separate country - it is that it's better being part of the United Kingdom.

In the future Scotland's prosperity will be strengthened by having the UK connection.

In these tough and turbulent times, the size, strength and stability of the UK economy will be a huge advantage for Scotland's businesses, and banks.

Scotland's population is about the same size as that of Israel, but it has the potential to be very much richer than Israel..

The latest estimate of Scotland's population is 5,254,800, a rise of 0.6% on 2010.

Herald Scotland / Baby boom: Scotland's population hits record high

Before the Scottish National Party (SNP) came to power, there was a worry that Scotland's population would fall below five million.

The SNP appears to have made Scotland more attractive, and a number of people from England have fled up North to Scotland.

There are regional variations.

Inverclyde, associated with the Labour Party, has seen a near 6% fall in population.

Perth and Kinross, now SNP territory, has seen the number of inhabitants rise by 11%.

Most of Scotland now votes SNP (Yellow on map)

Currently, Scotland has a government with very limited powers.
What is the case for full independence?
1. An independent Scotland would be the sixth wealthiest country on earth. According to the OECD.
2. Scotland has 25% of europe’s potential for wind and wave energy. We can export this!
3. Scotland has five good universities.
4. If Scotland got back what it sent south in tax, official figures show every Scot would have £510 more a year…"
5. Scotland, like Denmark, New Zealand, Norway and Finland, is a goldilocks country – not too big and not too small.
